August 18, 2016:

Following the recent ministerial appointments of April 27, 2016; Mr Issola Dipanda Francois was appointed the new Regional Delegate of Forestry and Wildlife for the South West, replacing Mr Eben Ebai Samuel.

The Forestry and Wildlife Regional Delegation for the South West (RDFOF-SW) was officially handed over to Mr Issola by the outgoing Regional Delegate on April 17, 2016 under the auspices of the Governor of the South West Region, represented by the Secretary General at the Governor’s Office.

As the Regional Delegate, Mr Issola doubles as the coordinator of the Programme for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in the South West of Cameroon (PSMNR-SWR) that is being implemented by RDFOF-SW. Mr Issola is thus expected to carry out MINFOF regalia duties and oversee the implementation of PSMNR-SWR.

Prior to his transfer to RDFOF-SW, Mr Issola was the Regional Delegate for the Centre Region, where he served for four years.

Mr Issola has been working for 28 years as a civil servant and has held several posts of responsibilities in varied sectors including agriculture, environment and currently forestry.

He holds a degree from the University of Dschang as a Forestry Engineer.
